    went to put on that newly painted fuel line and saw how dirty the wheelwell was...:yup:

    scraped the undercoating off...
    wire brushed with drill...
    primed with...Rust Bullet...
    painted it with...Rustoleum 7777 Satin...:Handshake Mike

    paint pic. tomorrow...right now it is still shiny..

    organized garage. waiting for rain to quit, so it dries up so i can weld again. (hint, never lay on the wet ground and weld).

    Got everything ready to pull the engine out of the Comet. Need to unbolt the tranny and motor mounts. Hopefully tomorrow. Supposed to be around 90 I heard.:)

    put on the rear tire that a patched at work today. got most of the wiring under the hood tied up and put wire loom on it! painted some more interior pieces. scrubed and pressure washed the carpet i scored at the wrecking yard yesterday. took some measurements and thought about how im going to build my underdash package tray. started it up and drove it around the house and put it back in the garage, hopefully i cn get it registered and insured this week!

    Drove it to test how the new engine repair I just did came out. Aside from a little vibration at idle and over 3000rpm it's great, powerful but smooth.

    1972 mercury comet with a maverick front end. It has a 1992 5.0 motor in it.
    Put the t5 in today, now i have to fab up the crossmember.
