We made it to the show with no problems at all... I very happy with my grabber and how she drove... Oh and I set off an alarm on a mazda3 twice at dunkin donuts once coming in and again when I left.... The guy works there, he thought someone was steeling his ride, I told him I'll set it off again when I leave...lmao

I miss doing that. My buddy at work used to have a supercharged pontiac with an aftermarket alarm. Once I found out the Mav could set it off I did it every time I drove the Mav to work. I found it way funnier than he did.:biglaugh:

I've done that when the thermostat wasn't seated properly. You can hold the thermostat in place with a rubber band to the front of the housing. Cut and remove the rubber band after the housing is bolted down.

I was planing on keeping the Maverick as is. Just leave the 6 cyl, auto, and enjoy. I will for awhile but...........Today, I picked up a 93 Cobra motor. Just the short block, I have everything else to complete it.
Its got 50,000 miles on it and was replaced cause he put a 347 stroker it his Cobra.
    Best part.......it was FREE! :dancing:
His wife told him to clean out the garage, so he called me and asked me if I wanted it and any other parts that went with it. AH.....YEAH! :yahoo:
    Even got the motor stand.

I removed the glass and the swivel ball bracket thing (one screw it doesn`t hurt to put a small amount of valve grinding compound on the tip of the screwdriver) and laid it on a towel then I took a center punch and a small hammer and went around the ball making dimples in the soft mettal untill I got the desired tightness.
