Replaced both power steering hoses (Got tired of buying power steering fluid...) and swapped out a bad shock.

Dropped off the 69 351W block at the machine shop, for hot tanking and a check out, waiting for the verdict.

After thinking about it, I stopped by to see Gordie Rivera to talk about this 393 Stroker build. I think Im gonna pick up my Block from the other shop and have Gordie build this Motor.

So, you are still going to build the 393, I thought maybe we changed your mind out of loosing the free 15 cubic inches along with free 20/25HP....
    Why not a 408?

Bought some back seat side/armrest panels that appear to be in very good shape! Whoo Hoo! Was worried about how I was gonna repair or remake mine which crumble at the touch of a finger... Wasn't looking forward to trying to reproduce them and haven't seen any anywhere until today. Paid too much (or maybe I didn't... they seem to be pretty rare but maybe I've been looking in the wrong places) but really needed them.

Well? Im almost there, but Im concerned about the rod angle and the wrist pin placement. Ive never seen the 408 piston. Thats what turned me away from building a 347 out of my Mexican Block. Im still open to the 408 idea. I probably wont build this motor till Fall. You got till then:rofl2:
BTW I found some straight 4 Bolt Billit mains for 90.00. from PRW.

The 69 351W block is in great shape, its standard bore. so I sprayed it down with Royal Purple till Im ready.

Monday Ill take the Mex Block in for the same checks, prep it and put it up for sale if its any good.

Well I finally got my rear in gear, a little:D.Day before yesterday I took apart the interior to get ready for the bucket seats and remover the pedal assembly to install the clutch pedal and set up the wilwood master cylinder, yesterday I removed the rear suspension and today I removed the front suspension. The next 3 days I'll put it back together in the reverse order and should be driving it......YEAH RIGHT!!!!!! You got to love a 40 yr old Texas car though, it came apart easily and there is no rust.
