FINALLY got around to replaceing the deteriorating 40-year-old rubber hose that connects the front and rear halfs of the steel fuel line. That's been on my list since I started working on the car in 2008. Seemed like a likely cause of a break down. :yup:

I removed my stock tail lights and prepped the 67 Impala lights I bought to take their place. I will install them tomorrow. Very excited!

Picked up a 100.00 SHORTBLOCK at 11:30 swapped my cam and topend on it, caught it on fire, put it out, and cranked the boost up and went street racing by 10 just got home.

Good times hard work and good friends

Got tired of welding so i decided to reinstall my fuel line that i removed to do the torque box and floor pan. Installed the line and started the car and fuel started leaking everywhere. Noticed that the in-line fuel filter was leaking. Both o-rings in the filter were shot so i went and bought a new one along with new fuel hose and installed it and started the car to check for leaks and let my run for awile. No leaks and it sure sounded sweet!!!!!!
