What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

    wow.. I called the guy I got the car from and found it while I was on the phone with him... I promise I looked everywhere... Even on the dash of the truck I towed the car home with.. The car will be in my name tomorrow..

    Well I sprayed it..I'll put it up a pic tonight when I get on h computer.. Looks good besides there's a few chunks in it, didn't filter it thought I could cut corners and it didn't work out.. So I'll block it once more tomorrow quickly and re-prime lol was only 16* out today so was a good temp for me to spray it... Loving this 2" cowl though :)

    When I got chunks after straining, the paint store counter guy, who was very knowledgeable and helpful, said it could be old activator. He said you shouldn't keep activator around for long after its opened. Just repeating what I was told. Couldn't think of any alternative explanation.

    i bought the activator like an hour before i sprayed..maybe was the old primer..looks like it needs a good shake on a machine..i mixed it very well and it went on very well just some chunks..anyways heres a couple pics i took..

    getting so mad...wouldn't let me insert my photo so i just linked to them
    -it's in our shop were having built in our yard right now..pouring the floor this week i believe, roof was put on friday morning.

    Looks great!! I wonder how the Sprint hood decals would fit on that hood. :idea: Would be good to get some heat out from under the hood on my car.

    Backed it out so i could work on drilling some spot welds out for this car im working on, cant wait till my 4 door gets here next saturday!!!!
