Tightened up the cable on an after-market oil pressure gauge the last owner put on it. It was slowly dripping oil on the carpet :banghead: Also found out I need to find a new left reverse light housing.

I hooked-up my heater hoses to the new heater core and finally got some heat. After getting the heater box rehabed, all the effort, finally paid-off. :)
I can tell you I have big smiles on my face....:) :yahoo:
I drove the car the second time this year to test the heater and confirm that I had no leaks. It felt real gud having some heat, even though not to cool today - high of 47. Yes I use heat in 40 degree temps.
Hopefully, in the next month or so, will have the AC working.
Next move will be finish covering my seats w/ the new seatcovers.

Put new main and rod bearings in, rear main seal. I figured while the motor is out I might shave the shock towers.

Got my 67 Caprice tail light frames back from being glass beaded - I spent time some filing and sanding down chrome pits and getting ready to fill them in with JB Weld so I can paint them black - plus it was 50 out today so I worked on the tail lights sitting in th sun in the driveway :clap::clap:

Picked up 20 new chrome mag lug nuts to replace the 16 cheapy steel ones and the 4 rusted up locking nuts. Stopped at Firestone, ordered 4 new white wall tires.

Got three quotes for local body shops for the paint job and a new trunk.

Should get the plugs and wires replaced this week if I can get a little help. Dang torn rotator cuff - not even allowed to unscrew a spark plug for the next 6 weeks and Matt turns 16 on Thursday. Want to surprise him and have his car finished by next week (one week after b-day) when he gets his license. Well I guess by finished - I mean ready to be a daily. We all know our cars are never finished.

pulled my rear brakes apart and found a lot of warn out parts... So I ordered a disc brake kit (the one from Right stuff detailing) and it looks like i'll be needing bearings and seals too they show signs of leaking...
