    Got the front suspension all put back together and the disc brakes put on. Get her down off the jack stands for the first time in a few months and drove her up and down the street.....

    Decided to adjust the modulator today to see if I could get it to shift later. Dropped it off the jackstands to take it for a spin and the starter wouldn't disengage. Could not shut it off. Stuffed a rag in the carb and it still kept going, had to grab a 1/2" wrench and yank the battery cable off. Not sure wether it is the new starter or the ignition switch that I had a problem with Friday.:mad:

    Took out the 4.11 and dropped a treefiddy gear.

    i feel like a new man today...spent 3 hours at a swap meet and tried to find stuff...found a maverick gas cap..passed on it as i have the comet...then found a deluxe comet cap. very nice cond. picked it up for 10 bucks! then moved along to another booth where i didnt know it was my dads buddy..i was looking at his holley blue pump he had a few of, he said oh isn't ken your dad? i said yes and he said take it, FREE..so then i was extremely excited and made my way outside where i purchased a few more misc. items...too much cheby stuff there though :(

    so sunday i finally decided it was time to remove my gas tank an recoat it..last time i drove it it once again got trash in the carb as i was haveing fun an then ran like crap...its still a full work in progress...i got a new sending unit...pulled the tank...got some trash inside but doesnt seem like enough to cause the issue...gonna run new lines all the way up...prob gonna try an pick some up today..put my tank on a fire it up...be too long sense ive heard that sweet 302 hummm and smoke some tires

    the other day i changed out the oil and replaced my oil pan with some buds. and yesterday i went to the pick your part and grabbed a couple of headlight bezels, blinker lights, bumper bracket, and a turn signal assembly.

    After the latest problem. I found out the starter wasn't new. Almost everything on the engine is new. So, now it has a new starter too.:)

    With the plug, it`s 2 wires, one is just the ground? I noticed they are marked 12v (I think)
