    Fixed the gas gauge the float had sank then we drove it to lunch, then added a lighter socket so i can charge my phone lol

    Just ordered a trickflow intake and throttle body, some injectors and megasquirt II kit for my new engine.

    Started her up. Got happy and figured "eh what the heck, I'll take her for a spin around the block." Made it to the end of the street, took a left and went two more blocks. She then died in the middle of an intersection. I had to push her to the curb, run home and find my jumper cables and drive back with my Taurus and jump her. She started right up and I drove her home. I think my alternator is calling it quits. When I pulled in the driveway it was smoking....

    at first when I was reading what the heck a couple more blocks I started laughing thinking I would do the same thing. then I read it died on you I though OH! that sucks NO WAY

    about you alternator problem though , it sounds like you might have a wire crossed? or loose?

    finally got my parts back from powder coating and MAN DID THEY TURN OUT NICE!!
    they came out better than I imagined. the oil pan and timing cover are on the motor already. the rest of the motor should be together today as well pics when its done!
