    not sure why a 6 cylinder c4 wont work will a 302, just need to get proper bell housing...

    The 6 cylinder C4 looks pretty much the same on the outside, but on the inside they have different clutch paks (less clutches), different modulators, different bypass springs, different centrifugal governors and the converter will be different. I guess it can be done but I would not put a 6 cylinder C4 behind anything other than a very stock 302..........................IMHO

    Looked in vain for a set of stock valve cover bolts. Seems like these things are endangered, or at least "rare". I had one junk yard offer to sell me the bolts, but only with the valve covers, bent up stockers, for...get this....$50. After a little animated discussion, I left, and put this yard on the bottom of my last list, and I have a lot of lists. Just another Maverickin' day!

    put 3 gauges in the spot for the radio, ten ran rca's with a mini-plug to an amp so my iphone is now my stereo. very satisfied with this setup.
