theres a bunch of little bolts under the windshield rubber and then theres 2 on each side plus all of the little screws in the bottom that hold all of the wiring to it. it does just unbolt but its a real pain to climb under there and unscrew all of those little guys. I did it in main and IM not looking forward to putting it back in :D but the good thing is that the majority of the wires that were in there before will be gone when I put it back in. and everything will be nice and clean

:hmmm: Mine scares me these days at high speeds, I got spoiled by 4 disc brakes on the tiburon as opposed to 4 drums

NO, not when you are trying to stop quickly from 130+..................one of the reasons I went with 4 wheel disc brakes......................among others.

First time in months I actually did some work on it since it died going down the road. I traced a bunch of wires. Pulled out a binch of old unneeded wires from the nitrous setup and fuel pump i removed. Did some more testing and looks lik emy MSD box is bad. I followed the test procedures from MSDs tech forum and Im not getting spark out of the coil when the white wire is touched to ground and removed. I have power to the box from battery and ignition.

Looks like Im either going to be saving up for a new box, or just wire in a duraspark box.

Drove it home. Marietta traffic makes me glad I put a stock clutch back in it.

Fixed the exhaust hangers I ripped off coming out of an amazingly steep parking lot (didn't realize it was that steep until it was too late) Then pulled it out of the shop, washed it and now may take it out for a drive tonight

I am back, waxed the Maverick out of Storage

Ok I know I havent been on the board much. I had got to the point with the maverick where all that is left is some new paint maybe. I have a 1 stall garage, and 3 project cars , no pole barn. So it means I have to shift cars around right now. I havent showed the Maverick in a year ,its out now, and going to 2 big shows. Its getting some love right now. It has been put on the side lines by a Pinto , but looks and runs great still. Hope to find the right home here soon to store all the toys soon in one spot. Good to be back again.....Kirk this was at fault.....:) rallyhome3.jpg

Did my best to get the engine in.....those headers are a big PITA, got one side on but may take it back off and put the hard to do side on first.
