What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

    LOL...I know, at least the sandpaper i used was hand laid on the thighs of vigrins before being boxed and sent to me via private jet...LOL...

    Just got done cleaning my e85 carb up,pulled my old carb offf and drained all the pump gas from the cell and gonna the e carb back on saturday.

    Installed my new trunk lid to check for fit. Fits great!!! Removed spoiler from the old lid and noticed i'm missing one of the clips that holds it tight to the trunk lid.

    The Champion radiator is in place after some relieving of the front crossmember...............on the edges 1/2" and relieved for the petcock.
    Question I have for some of you other guys with Champion radiators is how far does is protrude over the core support. Here is a picture of mine and I think if I get it up maybe 1/2" and still clear the fiberglass hood. The way the radiator is in now the top of the tank is flush with the top of core support.
    Also, do you know what the size of the plugs are for the lower radiator coolant holes.

    Thanks for the photo. Here is a picture of mine from almost the same angle.
    I think I can bring it up maybe 1/4" to 1/2" more.

    It looks like mine is higher than yours. Gotta believe the cap is close to the hood but it doesn't hit.

    My Champion radiator sits on my couch right now :(........going to Pick N Pull today to hunt up stock exhaust manifolds and some other little things, half price sale there until Monday!!
    Finally got all my disc bake components in yesterday, just got to do some cleaning and painting and then install.
