Installed new rear speakers, newly covered rear deck panel and reupholstered rear seat. I like the new look. I hope to re-install the fr package tray and pass side bucket, after figuring out why the tweeters in my component fr spk's are working. Went for a little ride after all the hard work

A fruitful day finally - I mounted my billet aluminum master cylinder. It's real close to the valve cover so I'll notch the firewall holes a little and move the cylinder and the attached pedal frame over just a bit - I disassembled my steering column for total rebuild and get it ready to adapt to the steering rack - clearenced the transmission hump some more to get the V-Gate shifter to fit :yahoo:

i looked at your first pic and was worried about my up coming mastercylinder conversion. a dual resivor CNC unit. then i realized thats not a small block.

looks really nice. i put a v-gate shifter in a good friends mustang years ago. thats got to be one of the most fun shifters to drive.

Git the exhaust off the Comet today and removed the gas tank. It's loaded on the trailer to go to the body shop maybe tomorrow for some rust repair. Also goot the 73 Mav in the driveway and started to take parts off of it.:)

Thanks - That's a Cleveland with tall valve covers to clear the roller rockers so I would think your 302 should have better clearence on the master cylinder :yup:

I always wanted a V-Gate - I know they can be a PITA for a lot of stop and go driving but like you said they are fun to use :)

sadly, nothing. I have a 67 ford f100 that I cant seem to get running. starts right up like it always has, but then when you give her gas...it dies...thought it was the fuel pump, but no...thoughts are welcome :)

I finally found time to replace the turn signal flasher behind the dash.

Not really...I'm doing a headliner and interior color change. I was able to get an eye on the cowl vents and I'm happy to report no rust or soft spots in the metal.

Hey Scooper! How do you like my custom metal work bench?

Does it has a brake booster? Maybe there's a vacuum leak produced by a broken gasket on the booster. Just a thought.:bouncy:

Jeff, i think the manual said the flasher is under the dash, not behind the dash...
