sand blasted my seat frame for new paint. no broken springs whoohoo then sand blasted the hood (hood fell and dented the friggin top right in the middle ) then sand blasted and painted splash pan
it only took until 3:30 am but I got it all done.:thumbs2:

more painting today then assembly of the grill bumper lights and maybe even the hood (if I can get it lined up right). it would catch on the back last time I had the hood on. so far getting the hood adjusted right has been the most difficult thing to do

I spent a few hours at the MVD and got my tags renewed for my Maverick. And got this old license plate transferred to it also. Now it is wearing the original style plate it had on it when new.

Well let see.....been steady work for about a month.Started by pulling the rear end and cutting off the folded spring pearches and welding on new heavy duty ones and boxing the ends, also corrected the pinion angle.Installed new ubolts and center pins, reconfigured the traction bars, newdrums and shoes, new u joints, new header gaskets, changed engine oil and filter, changed trans fluid, installed the removeable door bar kits on the cage, new plugs, tweaked the timing, rejetted carb for the cooler fall weather here, gave the clutch a little adjustment......wheew i think thats it.Just got to put the slicks on and i should be ready for the track on Friday.
Glad i only go to the track once a year this is alot of work.

Rebuilt my carb this weekend. Installed it and it started up instantly and purred perfectly! As I was tuning it though, the thing died. Wouldn't start at all. Traced it down to an electrical problem and found that the rotor in my distributor was cracked. I'll pick up a new one tomorrow and hope it starts up. :thumbs2:

Wow, guess I missed that post. Looks really good and love the CF shroud.
Who's trans cooler do you have mounted infront of the radiator, it looks like
it covers the whole core? How does it work in stop-n-go traffic?
