    I get usually get the opposite type of response. People like to argue with me saying that Mavericks never came with a V8 and I had to swap the 302 into it.

    Since I have been retired I am twice as busy as I was when I had a 40/50hr work week job, and assume since Frank is retired...........................I look at retired as being a job..................:D

    Well, maybe not a job but still get paid for doing something I enjoy.......................these are some of things that are keeping me busy.............just finished another tripower setup for a Yblock Ford for a guy in Florida, working on getting port/polish/relief on a flathead motor I am building for a guy in Denver, finishing the rear suspension on a 32 Ford frame for a Model A Coupe, and finishing a stroker crank and shipping to England.

    on a busy day mine goes like this...
    up at 6 AM, eat breakfast with my Bride...
    9:30 - 10:45 AM, take a short nap before lunch...
    11 AM-1:30 PM lunch (w/friends)
    2 PM- 4 PM Nap time...
    5-5:30 supper...
    6 -7 PM nap before bedtime...
    in the bed around 10 PM...

    ...:whew: just thinking about all I do in a day...


    today, Jeff and I are going up to Earls (2.5 hr. drive) to help him erect a portable shed....Jeff's driving, I'm napping on the way up and back...:D
    it's Fri. so I can catch up on any napping I miss today this weekend...:D

    Thanks for the kind words but I can't much credit for the steel Flathead crank, just had the machine work done here.................but I made the oak crate from scratch that it ship in. Really like to work with steel and wood, although if you make a mistake with wood it's a little harder to fix.....IMHO

    Gave it a bath, sure does get dirty driving it so much! Got 23mpg last tank city driving on 87 octane crap swill!
