    Shocking

I took my son's 1975 maverick to a mechanic today for a noise coming from the right front. Turned out it was the shock. He replaced it for $90. Then while driving home I noticed the left side is making a very slight noise. Is that a fair price or is that something I could do myself. Sorry for the dumb question.

With the wheel still on the ground, or at least supporting the weight of the car, remove the two bottom bolts first.

I finally remembered to order a new lt frt suspension strut rod since mine was stripped and had been welded by an alignment shop many years ago.

I think my control arms are still ok so I'm just going to replace the loose stg components, sway bar end links, shocks and strut rod to see how it drives.
