Went to garage...stared at the trunk I put on. Debating if I'm going to use it or not. It just doesn't fit quite like I would like it too...even after many adjustments.

charged the battery over night and warmed the car up this morning seemed to stop the spitting back at me and hesitating. just cold and a low battery made it seem like a bad set of points :thumbs2:

If I could find another I'd probably delivery it. I could use a vacation.

I got this trunk from a member and it is very nice, but the rt side doesn't fit the bodyline of the quarter right. Not enough curvature. Maybe I can tweek it a little.

finally finnished up the driver side floor pan...got the underside brace for the seat made and put in...started to get the passenger side pan ready, welded all the holes up in it and then began to cut out the disgusting job done by the PO...looks like ill be putting in the floor pan plus some extra sheet metal..i can't believe the work some people do..it's amazing. at least the torque box is nice and solid on this side..also fixed a quarter sized hole under the quarter window trim piece, i don't think they have ever been off, took a fair bit of prying..then i noticed all the glue/seam sealer the factory used.

Took the 75 grill off to clean and put the newly painted 71 grill on the 75.
I like it! I like it!
I think it might stay on.

????? The 71 parking lights have 2 wires and the 75 has 3. How can I make the 71's work?

Sounds like the 71 grill has sport lamps where as your 75 had parking lights and turn signals. Just swap the light housings

Figured out why the cable setup on my clutch was crap.....seems first of all the pedals were loose in there as no retaining clip was present, secondly the cable was attached to a small eyelet welded to the top of the pedal and was in no way in a position to pull a cable more than an inch at best!
Rethinking everything about the cable setup but still wondering about the hydraulic, the cable would be the simple way for now and it's for the most part ready, and after all I do wanna drive!! you know ......pull some Frankies :chirp: .....................
