    3/4 of the bottom of the car is now covered in Por-15..only another small section above the rear end to prep and paint, then its on to waiting for the quarter panel fix...if that doesn't come quick ill have to take the dash out of the car (if i figure out how) because i am assuming there is surface rust up behind there plus a massive mess of wires i can clean up..i want to move my tach off the dash anyways.

    Might be heading out of town next weekend to look at a 1970 buick skylark with a 455 and a bunch of other stuff..brother needs another car.

    Weekend Progress

    Engine and Trans In (302 Swap) in the 1970
    Trans Dip Stick Tube/Oil Dip Stick Tube in.
    Passenger Door on.
    Tried to get the alternator brackets on.....got annoyed....gave up!

    I used a door holder/jack to install the door. It was so much easier than having to support the weight.
