    We are gonna take the mav from Indiana down to S. Carolina in a week. So, today I put on air shocks cause the rear springs are so shot I don't trust them. Looks and rides much better now. I know it's just a band-aid. But new leaf springs are gonna come soon. Well, as soon as I can find some I like. Any suggestions? I don't want stock ones. Would like lowered ones that are stiffer.

    U want some stiff springs - Try these - I beleive they will more than satisfy ur desire for stiff. They will raise ur car to some degree. I have them on my car but intend to remove the bottom leaf this spring.

    I have seen these. They have the desired stifness, but I'm going for a corner carver. And these raise it too much. Even with a leaf removed. Lookin for about a 2 inch drop from stock. Thanks for the info!

    Tried to buy a V8 auto Comet 4dr with 70000 miles to use as a donor car for my Mustang and to part out. Guy said it was mint....it has internal engine problems. :mad:

    Didn't buy.

    Here is the 71 4-door parts car. Not shown in the pic is front valance and bumper that is bent, rear valance is missing but rear bumper is a good core. It was a V8, AT, A/C and P/S at one time. Earl wants the factory A/C stuff along with the exhaust manifoilds...I want the rear housing. I will be selling small parts and crush the rest.
