My 4 door would have looked like that...except it was rain in the forecast... Then it was randomly 5" of snow when I came out of the shop to do it... And now I'm sick.. So I didn't do anything today.. Wanted to atleast do the seatbelt box on the comet but I'm going to bed Soon I think.

Did not work on car directly but built a grinder stand to help with car project. My welding skills are improving.

^^ Looks good. I was needing another but found I could pick one up at Harbor Freight (with coupons) for far less than the materials would cost to build. I just had to replace all of the crappy bolts with grade 8 bolts.

Are you talking about this one? http://www.harborfreight.com/universal-bench-grinder-stand-3184.html

My biggest gripe were how short there were, I did not want to be hunched over. Not sure about quality but for a similar price I was able to build it using 1/4" steel.

paid the machine shop another $300 and ordered a new dart block so 1000 hp here I come. :D
I was going to stay with the old 302 but with the parts I ordered already I was going to be stressing the oldschool block and running at the limit of about 550 hp. since I can only afford to do this once Im going to do it right the first time. so the new block will allow me to run way more boost on my super charger and Ill be upgrading my heads from the patriots I already ordered. we had a $950 price figured for heads already so I just need to add a little more money for some better heads.

then I came home and fired up my comet and revved it for a little while just to hear the roar of the headers :evilsmile
