Mounted my new 100 amp 1 wire alternator, that I bought from Joe Dirt, to the right side Cleveland head. Now to figure out how to add a bracket for adjusting the belt with the front engine plate in the way

Went for a drive, wait correction was going to go for a drive, got to the gas station, just parked and then thud!!! the jack hole in front of me backed his Astro van into my front bumper (with his tow hitch) , lucky enough it was not hard enough to do any damage :dancing: , but it did make me decide to not go for a drive, sooo on my way home about three blocks from home, i then almost got T-BONED by another A-HOLE that ran a stop sign, Sundays are way to busy with the swap-meet to be driving around, lesson learned....

Started putting the interior back together. Got the pedal support, steering column, wipers done. Yesterday I cleaned the overspray from the previous paint job and 38 years of dirt from the wiring harness.

Kind of mounted my front fenders - then took measurements to lay out the hole that I needed to cut in my hood to clear the dual carbs - cut the hole and kind of mounted the hood between the fenders - still need to trim a larger hole but we're getting there :)

I bought a used Harwood that came with a scoop plug - not sure if that is for when it rains and I hope I don't have to find out LOL!

The plan all along was to paint it a bright orange - as of now it will be painted Camaro Hugger Orange as I have an offer of a free gallon of that color (y)

As for getting it on the road this season - I can only work on it as time allows so only time will tell :)
