    Is powder coating expensive there..? Only one shop here in town that does it and his prices are ridiculous.

    I continued sanding on my car today.. Guide coat is amazing..found 2 more small dings on my roof and a few on the quarter..so much more body work and blocking left I don't see the end of it.. And I've been doing it for a couple months.

    drove it to work, greased the front end tonight, mainbearings came in from advance i ordered

    now for the rods,oil pan gasket, main seal, cover gasket and early timing chain

    Put cleaned carb back on it, put TWO fuel filters on it, Put bolts back in motor mounts, put a new clutch cable with covering on it and pulled tires and wheels off then started bleeding brakes again, finishing tomorrow with brakes then it's on to the final touches like a front end alignment!:thumbs2:

    Got the front brakes bled out and done, starting rear brakes today with one man style, homemade vaccum bleeding system, I took some plastic line like fish tank air hose, and drilled two holes in a pickle jar lid, put in two pieces of hose and sealed around them in the lid, once sealer dried I ran one hose end to a manifold vacuum source, the other loose hose end to the bleeder, put the lid on the pickle jar and started the engine, opened the bleeder and kept a close eye on the master cylinder fluid as the manifold vaccum was drawing fluid through the brake system and depositing it in the jar, when I saw no more bubbles I shut the bleeder and moved on to the next one, got the front done and moving to the back today....worked like a charm!!:thumbs2:
