    Got the heads back.
    Springs were about 180lb............should have been 200lb, so(@ installed height) bought some new Vasco's. Keepers were galled............was a very good thing them came apart......loosing a keeper could have cost some serious money, so new keepers and replaced the steel retainers with Titanium. Also replaced the exhuast valves as they were very heavily pitted. So, pretty much have a set of new heads.
    Here are some pictures;

    Just picked up Ruth's Comet from the shop. They replaced both the inner and outer quarters, the inner front fender panels, one torque box, complete trunk floor and a couple of other rust spots. Now I've got to get underneath and start the cleaning process and the suspension. I'll post the pics when I get a chance. :)

    I got my new radio mounted into the factory faceplate without any cutting. Looks like it was made for the car. Had to sacrifice the old am radio for its chrome face plate though.

    I buttoned up my 250 six...after replacing the starter solenoid and the positive cable...I almost got it fired up but it didn't have enough juice to keep it running! I will fire it up tomorrow when I have the battery charged up...:dance:

    I did nothin damn it. However I did get to install a vanity,install a toilet, clean one very muddy horse and scoop a lot of horse poop. I'm sure your all green with envy now. LOL. Hoping to be more productive on the car this week with the nice forecast.
