Nothing to the Maverick but something for it. It was time to get organized so I started the ugly task of cleaning and remodeling it's room. So far it's gone from this.......

The remodeling is coming along but the cleaning has a long way to go. Once it's done I'll have room to get rolling on it and I'll be able to find the tools I need!

Sadly I just looked at pictures of it lol. Made a nice size list of parts to order in the next two weeks and mentally tortured myself pretty much all day about not being able to drive it.

Two weeks ago I pulled the 170 cu in & C-4 trans from my 70 Grabber. Now I need to pull the 302 from my 74 Comet 4dr donor car. Replace head gaskets on the 302 & the front seal on the C-4 & put it in the 70 Grabber. I have everything I need, except time...LOL

Gassed it up, waxed it up, vacuumed it out. Getting ready for an All Ford car show this weekend.

I actually think there will be 3 Mavericks there :thumbs2:, one of them will be my old Grabber, be nice to see it again :)

Been to car shows 4 weekends in a row, took home one first place

Getting ready to pull the new UCA's back out to adjust them. the tires are perilously close to the fenders and I have very little camber adjustment in the negative direction. Oh well, C'est la vie.

It is a good day when you get to drive it in to work. The day could stink but then you get to drive 30 miles home. Damn I love driving this car.

    took a Vacation Day today

My brother workes at a garage down town. He called me at work yesterday to tell me that he dragged in a 72 Comet, I6, auto. So, I took the day off and he brought it out to my place. Small bumpers are straight and need re-chrome or paint. The dash is nice,no cracks, black!!!! I may list it. Black bench and nice rear seats. The whole bottom of the car is gone. That's a good thing, because it doesn't have a title, so it's not worth restoring. Here's some pics.
