What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

    Cleaned all the grease and everything off my steering parts so i can blast them & then powder coating...NOT sure what color to powdercoat them though?! i did my bellybar and trans mount red before and they look great...maybe do it all red? not sure how it will look though, black car, blue engine, red steering components/crossmembers..maybe blue to match the engine and re-do the other stuff blue?

    Well this is how far I am as of right now.... Still need to finish the fuel lines and wiring and install the gauges and then she can come to life...

    Got the Mach 1 paid off a few weeks ago and started working on the Maverick again. :thumbs2:
    Painted the dash ( no pic yet ). Still have to put it back togather. Gonna work on it today. :16suspect
    Just need to get head liner and dash pad to finsh the int. :dancing:

    went to pull the rear wheel off to try to find a substitute for a 77 drum only to find the repair shop keep my lug key last week

    Why don't you just let me have your car for the winter months..........I'll make sure it gets well taken care of during the months you would have had it storage(that way it can get used on sunny days where the temperature is only over 65................and won't flog it...........much:biglaugh:

    Nothing, got busy on my back log of honey dues. Fixed the blend door on my wife’s 05 Explorer so she’ll have heat this winter (she’s been riding me like a donkey to get it done!).

    That and tackled the rear brakes pads and e-brake shoes while I was at it.
