    Almost finished installing the AC system. Had to reroute heater hoses and remove the valance panel to drill 2 of the 3 new bolt holes for the "exact reproduction condenser" after having the AC shop replace a faulty fitting on the brand new exact reproduction condenser. All that is needed now is longer fan belt, AC lines and then charge it up.

    I finally finished this stage of working on the maverick... homemade grill installed, new turn signals installed wired and working... although side markers still don't work thinking about jumping them off the corresponding front and rear markers.

    got my shop ready for the new roof...ordering it tomorrow. they said it will take 24 hrs. to have it ready. going with the same roof panels as I have on my house ( R-panel)...it will be one of my Birthday presents...the other one is Effie is getting me Race Deck flooring for my shop...:yup:

    Disc Brake Setup

    Ordered a disc-brake setup from Rod & Custom for the 70 Maverick. Using 73 five lug spindles as a base. Changing wheels to five lug .. so NOW is the time
    for these brakes.

    from the reviews, anything on wheels is good...up to 5,120 PSI. one guy said that's more than 12" thick w/rebar interstate highway concrete.

    You have to use steel plates under the jack-stands,without it they will cut right through the race deck...

    I don't see why all jackstands don't come with "feet", they scar and scratch cement...:yup:
