got around to installing the relays for the halogens, was real meticulous with the install and it took hours but got some other stuff cleaned up too while i was in there.

I ordered new sending units for my gauges, a new gauge bracket that holds 4 gauges and a digital clock that matches my gauges... Then I took the car out and ripped though some gears on the longest drive since the rebuild, the car ran and shifted great... Went out to visit Jim (coutangman) and looked at his stable of fords and checked out his latest project...

I suppose that's one way to look at it

Unfortunately, I don't think the exhaust system liked being backfired through. I was driving home from work when my car suddenly got obnoxiously loud. Got home and took a look and found this. This was shot through the steel wheel looking at the muffler. The highlighted part of the pic is the inlet where the pipe connecting to it just completely rusted off.

Plumbed a new fuel system, wired a megasquirt ecu, and got it started, cause my ecu for the powerjection died on Saturday.

I found out the hard way that both sides of the cowl and the windshield gasket leak like sieves in the Green GT when I used it for shelter when a thunderstorm came up quicker than I could get inside because of my injured lower back acting up.

Oh well, I was planning on cutting all the spot welds loose from the cowl and getting rid of the rust prone hats anyway. Now I'll just have to keep it covered when it's outside to minimize water damage until I can get it done.

The other day took a trip with my girlfriend to look at a '75 maverick for sale. I liked the car and surprisingly she did too haha (she's more for 50's cars) might pick the car up next week

Sanded the passenger rear quarter panel and scraped off some old weatherstripping gunk and caulking.
