took the Atomic EFI for a ride today. drove down and met Tim and his Son Todd for lunch. (200 miles round trip)
ran like a top...23.4 MPG... 75-80 MPH... temp ran 5-7 degrees warmer than with the Cowl hood.

    :drive:...:chirp:

Thanks for the invite, I think!?!. I have given up on trying to match colors to original. I do know that every Maverick I have seen looks great. 25-30 Mustangs at the last local show, not a single Maverick. Next year! (NOTE: Mustangs look great too!)

Got busy with the wire brushes on the Weiand Stealth intake, installed thermostat, carb studs and water elbow. Disassembled, repaired, reassembled 71 Mustang console. Next week will remove the factory 2bl carb, intake, and bolt on the 4.

Removed the passenger door glass, installed new glass run, beltline wxstrip, sound deadner and painted inside (interior) of the door facing w/ Eastwood under hood matte black. Eastwood's rattle cans spray better than any rattle cans I've ever used. Nice pattern, less tendency to run, dries to vry nice finish. It's a little pricey, worth it in my opinion. We have a new Eastwood store, opened this spring - I will be using their spray exclusively when I am spraying something I want nice finish.
Removing the glass, and installing the wxstrip, dealing w/ the orig. pins retaining the glass was an exercise in patience. Main concern, don't break the glass - at all cost. Fortunately, I had ordered new pins, didn't want to chance not being able to re-use 40+ yr old plastic. Actually, did this over last few days; the drivers side shud go much faster.

VIN 2F91T203178 shows it as originally being a non-Grabber, 200CID car. I like the colour, and the look of the car. Bidding is up just over $4500...
