Try doing same on one with A/C, not much different than a late model...

Cut away part of the tunnel support bracket to make room for the TREMEC install, hoping to get the hydraulic clutch setup in the mail early next week!

Repl leaking bowl gasket on the new replacement carb Holley sent me last year, also swapped squirters to hopefully get rid of a major bog at off idle WOT... May need a larger size, will see...

Tried to clean out my shop so I could get my 71 in after I soda blast it. Am working on sand blasting all of the components for the disk brake set uo for the front. It is getting ready to snow here soon.

I picked up the 73 Mav 2 dr that I bought to part out and put it in storage. It is a clean one. It joins the 74 Comet 2 dr that I will also part out.

Bought new seat belts. The original from 1971 had to go!

Got the hydraulic clutch setup in the mail today, only because I chased the mail man down the road and ask where my package was after he passed by our box, I told him it said out for delivery and only then did he look in the back of his jeep and find it, he said he thought the address was a different one than mine! I should have offered him my reading glasses.:rant2::Blasting:

Took some undesirable center line aluminum wheels and started sanding them. What a job! It is going to take a long time to work my way from 120 grit to 2500 grit and then buff them. Un crated my new engine from Five Star Engines and put it on the engine stand.

Installed the clutch M/C and bolted the slave cylinder to the tranny, plumbing it all in is all that's left and that can wait till the engine is ready.

I got impatient waiting for my rebuilt C4 tranny. They can't seem to find drums for the smaller shaft in the early 1970's C4. So, I installed my Headman 33800 headers today. I used the Stage 8 locking bolts, nice!!. Missing my C4 tranny and may be looking for one soon. Someone please tell me I can fit it in from the bottom without having to remove these headers!

THANKS! But I will screw up so many things before it ever runs. I am a rookie compared to most of you all. Thanks for helping me along the way. I'll screw up much less thanks to you all.
