    Drove it over to Advance to pick up some 7/16" bolts so I could replace the radius rod bushings in my beater F-150...

    Found the new Holley carb is apparently leaking off after it sets, gotta look into that...

    removed the TV cable/throttle cable bracket and modified it. will paint and reinstall it tomorrow...:whew:

    pulled it out of the shop so we could put Collins Mav on my lift to pull the 8" chunk.

    Got the new 302 running yesterday. (Been out of commission for over 6 months). But after running for a few seconds I saw that there was oil streaming out of the back of the engine and off the trans... so today I pulled the Trans and saw that there was NO REAR MAIN SEAL! previous owner of the engine took it out and as I went through it and cleaned it up (painted, new gaskets etc) I didn't check the rear main... oops... so tomorrow I have some reassembly then it should be good to go!! Haven't driven it in way too long.

    Been buffing stainless steel bright work for the past couple of days. Basement covered in rouge and buff wheel lint. Stripping lousy anodizing off aluminum pieces to allow refinishing.

    took it out for the last...:drive:...:chirp:...of the year.
    got it crossways in the road with a 2nd. gear shift, that's 3 times this year.
