    Brought it back to life on megasquirt, with the multi port intake. Now I need to figure out why it back fires with the spout in, even when commanding base timing through the megasquirt. Then I'll clean up the wiring.

    Replaced and rewired tail light sockets to use both lights on each side for stop/signal. Planning on relocating reverse lights to lower valance.

    Hi Jason:
    I have an small article on the Mustang Back-Up Lights being installed in the lower rear valance on my website if
    you're interested .. go to cameoclub.com and click on "Restomod" section. The back up lights are from a 68 Mustang and you can find them at NPD . We've done these on four cars now and they work great !

    Hi Jason:
    You're Welcome !! Just a post script . The BULBS for these lights are difficult to locate at your local parts store ??
    I don't know why .. but I " DO" remember I had to find one years ago and I had to go to NPD .. You might want to
    order an extra bulb or two if you order the back up lights for them. ( They're very Bright ! }

    Was all set to take it to get the body finished and painted until I seen one of the cars come out. Massive orange peel and a dirty paint booth. No thanks, I guess I'll continue it on my own.

    Gave the Mav a wash to get ready to put it in the garage for the winter. For anyone else doing this, make sure you run a spray nozzle along the underside of the wheel well edges. A lot of crud deposits there and promotes rust. You pretty much need a garden hose to do this as most car wash wands can't get the pr0per angle. Here is a shot in front of the fog shrouded local lake.

    Made some more interior progress in spite of my recent hand surgery(working slow and Left handed!) I still have a few wires to run ,and I will wait until the car is together and running to order the new 5 pt. seat belt harnesses. note that the seats have slots for the shoulder belts to pass through.

    New seats ,Carpet,shifter,

    As soon as My hand heals, the car will be getting these new toys... Double roller spring mounts and Calvert racing 90/10 front shocks.
