    I straightened the rear bumper and valance on my 73 Maverick. I will be needing a better or new rear bumper in the future. Still too bent to re- plate.

    No such thing. A good chrome plating shop can fix anything before they chrome it.

    I have a 73 front, full assembly.. just swapped to skinny front and may soon change the rear to chrome. Front is good, rear has just a few ripples in the bottom, both painted. That front assembly is heavy!

    I paid $50 recently for a used fiberglass hood with a big hole cut in it for a 671 blower. Got a harwood 2 1/2" fiberglass cowl and having it grafted in. Think it looks a little more subtle than some of the others I've seen. Went today and gave it a thumbs up for completion.

    Got mine running again after 7 years! Installed 4:11 trac loc and serviced the tranny. Drove it around the block today which is farther than its been in a LONG time!

    Went to the Florida MCCI mini meet. We had 15 mavericks and 2 comets show up, a total of 685 fords in one place.22nd NPD ford and mustang round up in silver springs fl.

    I drove mine for first time since prob Oct, surprisingly the 10+ year old(Sept 05) battery would still crank it...
