Got a front sump oil pan for $10 at the swap meet. New oil pan gasket and oil pick-up that I ordered from rock auto last week. Just a few more steps closer to getting it running.
Also finally installed my v8 mounts that I've had for many years!

Bought an aeromotive in tank set up for the comet. I don't even need it nor know why I bought it, but i should have it delivered in a week or so. All of this from a shop wanting to charge almost $4oo to install my own sump. I showed them.

Got my carpet, trim and seat belts installed. Once my seats are cleaned up and dropped in, my interior will be DONE!

Thanks! I have a set of OEM Ford mats that I bought for my now-wife's 92 Mustang back in the day. We sold the car but I kept the mats. They are black, simple and capture the 'feel' of the car. I'm not a fan of carpeted mats, or things with lots of embroidery and I didn't want it to look like they were bought at Canadian Tire. Unfortunately, I didn't buy the rear mats, but I did find ONE rear mat at a fried's place. So I am in search of a rear OEM mat likely from a Fox-body car...

I saw it, walked by it and wondered if it will ever run again.

This looks all too familiar! Even the same colour!! It looks like you are well underway.

What are you replacing the lower cowl with? It looks like you should be able to repair just the ends instead of a complete replacement. Good Luck!
