Went out in the cold garage abt 11/2hrs, temp abt 45 in garage.
I just cud'nt stand not doing anything to the car any longer, so I put on my heavy clothes and went to it. This was the first day, this year, I been out there longer than 1/2 hour other than shovel snow. LOL
I moved some wiring around going thru the firewall for my stero amp and aux fusebox. I did it while I have the heater box and pack tray out. I see some other things I need to do while I got this stuff out. I also got all the AC heater box ducting and figured out how it's suppose to go back in B4 spending a lot of time and energy doing that when I put it back together in the car.
I've gotten motivated now so hopefully I can pick-up the pace as weather warms.
I have a kerosene heater but really can stand the fumes. I cud get a lot done if I cud handle the fumes. Yes! I have a roof vent, I leave the service door cracked and window cracked - just can't deal w/ the fumes.

I started it up and drove it around the block since the roads were dry. I don't have a windshield in it or much of an interior and it was 39 degrees out - so by the time I got home I had to defrost my face. Can't wait till the snows gone so I can take her out and throw on a few coats of wax. Also when the snow melts I might find the money tree I planted sonewhere in the backyard and get this baby finished.

I discovered a knock in the bottom end, a dipstick pushed out of its tube, a little water in the oil, oil in the water, steam in the crankcase, oil coming out the front and rear seals, smoky exhaust, and then we just decided to throw all our belts off too for sh!ts and grins! :D

That just sounds like a typical day in the life of an Old Man.

I just finished masking the engine bay and gave it one pass of low gloss black, I still have two more passes to finish and then fix the starter motor, change the alternator bearings and return the engine to its Place!
Yeah! I can't wait to hear it roar again!

Started the car put six gallons in. Walk around the thing looking for something to fix or just take apart to see, Nope good. Jack the car up just enough to look, some fluid on the trans pan. Anybody ever have an acorn jump off a tree right between your shoulder blades. It's a paralyzing experience. LOL

Installed my monte carlo bar from TOPORANGER, fit very well, only one small tap to get it in. Used new stainless steel bolts and lock nuts. Then went to tighten cable connections on the starter solenoid and split it in half............oh well, something to fix:yippee:

Started it up, let it warm up to 160 degrees then shut her down.
