I think it came out very nice. Did you start that a week ago? What did you make it out of? The spoiler on the back of my 69 Camaro was like that....attached to the trunk lid and hung over the rear 1/4s.

Next week I'm going to purchase the aluminum to make those louvers. They are hard to find, no other choice but to make it yourself.
    Thanks for your comments.

Looked at it several times while working on the lawn mower :(. Need to find a dash speaker so I can go ahead and get the dash put back together. Yesterday I removed a lot of dash components and cleaned them up. Checked the insurment lights and discovered that none of the ventilation stuff is any good

Cut out the rusted hole in my gas tank with an angle grinder & cut off wheel to Maybe try to save the original tank If it doesn't have leaks or more rust through after welding it
    [IMG]
I still have a hole next to where the sender goes but I intend on fixing that too when I cut the steel plate to weld it up. The main hole was so thin I could poke my finger through what looked like rust when it bubbles up under paint :dead:. I may be wasting my time trying to save it though and may end up just going to look at a 73 4dr Maverick skinny bumper in the junkyard to see if it has a use-able tank. I intend to buy the back bumper off it too since it's not rusted and definitely not through the chrome like mine is.

Just buy a new tank, they sell them new for a little over $100 shipped. I wouldn't waste my time welding on a used tank. It could cost you a lot more in the end.
