Picked up a Crower cam today and probably grab a set of GT40 heads tomorrow. Should wake it up and give me a decent runner once it finally ends up in the car!

Did some more work under the hood, did some more straightening to the cowl panel, shock towers, aprons. Also fixed the blown air line in the shop so I can use the compressor again! Now I have no excuses. except maybe a lack of cash here and there, but I have all the body parts so I should be able to get the body done this winter I hope. If I could pull off a miracle id like to make it to a show next year!!!! "With the car this time lol"

drove mine to work in the wind and rain and for the first time in owning it (3 years) arrived with a dry floor. I can FINALLY put the interior in it, including some nice somewhat lowback recaro buckets. yay! goodbye dead bench seat!!!

Ordered a set of Digi-Tails LED taillights and a black vinyl top for my Grabber. I hope I have time to install them before the Silver Springs mini meet.

    Good Morning :
Regarding the SEQUENTIAL Taillights . They go in pretty easy .. just a few wires and you'll need a different "no load " flasher to accommodate the led's . We purchased our flashers from SUMMIT Racing , its a United Pacific part number 90652 it also comes as a 'Polarity Reverser' which you MAY need as these flashers are Polarity Sensitive . Don't forget to order ANOTHER one for the FOUR WAY FLASHER also and if memory serves correct you MAY need the Polarity Reverser in ONE LOCATION but NOT the OTHER . We ' tested 'our panels before installing into the housing on a table with a DeWalt battery to insure everything was working properly . Get a couple of test leads for this and while you have them on the ' Table ' or Bench .. We found it was a good time to select which "SEQUENCE" of the several patterns available . The leads that are furnished on the LED lights are connected to an 1157 bulb base so you can utilize the original sockets. We found it was problematic and chose to wire them directly and Eliminate the Socket Setup . We are usually in the plant on Saturday Mornings from 8:0o to ?? If you'd like to speak to Bill or Alex about the wiring. PM me your phone number if you wish and I'll PM you OURS . See ya at the NPD Show in January ( LORD willing)

Chip these are Digi-Tails not EZ performance LED's . Their set up has to be wired in, there is no 1157 socket and they only have two settings standard and sequential . I bought them with a black Friday promo code witch included the electronic flashers.

Thanks for the update . Didn't realize there were more than one outfit that produced the Sequential Taillights. Sounds like you got a real bargain. Should be a slam dunk installing them. I'd like to see them at NPD if you're going this year. See you then.

Took a week off work to burn vacation time so I don't loose it so I went back after the undercoating on the car. Bought a Harbor Freight needle scaler and it has made this a lot easier! I need to flip the car to the other side so I can get to the other side of the frame rails and the wheel well.

I was asked about the needle scaler and my contraption I made to tip the car so I thought I would post it here as well in case someone else was curious.

A needle scaler is similar to an air hammer but with a bunch of needles to knock off the crud. Use it too long and your hands go numb!

As far as the wood stand, I used 2 x 6 and mounted them to the bumper mounts and door hinges. I didn't use my math skills very well and it got real heavy transitioning from the caster wheels to the arms it is resting on now. There are some that have actually used a curved piece of plywood so it will just roll over but I did this with what I had laying around.

Here's the back, I ran support braces to the factory tie down brackets.

And the front, made brackets from some scrap steel.

For the "kick stand" I just went from the top hinge on one side to the lower on the other. I made it too long and the first time I tipped it over it wanted to fall back down!

Added an electric fan to my car so now it runs at 185-187 at idle and drove it to go see cometized (chip) to get an alternator!

Made a bracket to relocate the right rear shock behind the axle. Used the original three bracket holes and added two nutserts and bolts.
