In the last couple days I have taken 20 three inch wheel studs off to get ready for new wheels and tires , replaced the idler arm , took the headers off to replace with some new Hooker 6901 ceramic coated ones .

Let me know if you have to modify those headers. I have a set waiting to go on mine as well.

It will be the third set of them that I have installed on different Mavericks and the only issue I have run into is hitting the pitman arm on complete right hand turn, if they were not ceramic coated I would just dimple them but not wanting to hit the coating I just live with it, not a big deal. Passenger side slips right in drivers side just undo motor mount and lift slightly no problem. Take spark plugs out first thing

Picked up a set of wheels today, I have trolled Craigslist for months looking for some 18s that could be used. I finally scored a set of FR500 knock offs, they were on a Mustang and the guy went with something new. The lips are a little pitted but easy enough to fix, picked them up for $300!

I had a set of regular old 6901's on mine. They actually looked fairly good when I removed them. I'm with you on not wanting to ding them.

While waiting for my tires took the time to repack wheel bearing, painted the drums installed new wheel studs. Noticed that I have a wheel brake cylinder seeping so I guess I better get one of those and new brake shoes. I should just bite the bullet and put disc brakes on it since it will not be a race car anymore.

It was really hard to work in the garage since today was one of those rare days that it wasnt raining in Oregon
