Those are the same gauges I'm looking at for my 72 Maverick. Any problems during installation? 120 or 160 on the speedo

that's how I got my rack n pinion. I rebuilt mine with all the new stock parts and then dropped all of it out in one piece and gave it to Jeff.
    out with the old...
    in with the new...
then the Rod and Custom 106 rack n pinion kit...

    ...:yup:...

Last I checked there are inner tie rods used with rack & pinion, sure replaced enough of them in Stang II & Fox Mustangs...

ran with a Dodge Challenger this morning coming out of town. I hooked on to his bumper and we ran between 92-95 Mph for 12 miles (my exit). I noticed a slight vibration at that speed so when I got home I put it up on the lift and pulled the driveshaft. the needles in the u-joint caps had made chatter marks on the U joint.
so it was off to Summit with my Bride for a new yoke, seal, bushing and 2 U joints, will try to get it made up tomorrow.

    :drive:...:chirp:

Finished up the headliner,a battle from yesterday. Hope I don't have to do that again anytime soon... Put in the back glass and quarter window seals... Not impressed with the quarter window seals... That's a lot of money for no more than there is... Two pieces... I started to put the original back on because the replacements were so stupid looking and just, heck, coulda prolly cut some windlace and got some black weatherstrip glue and some rubber and made that... Should have put that money in the front end or a bumper... It's not a show car anyway, most likely never be... ;)

finished installing front end parts, set caster to 3.5 degrees (according to my plumb line, level, tape measure, and on-line right angle triangle calculator ) Camber at zero, toe at 1/8". I still have to bleed the newly installed Granada discs, put tires on it, and go for a drive to see if a real alignment shop needs to do it.

Pulled the leaky, dripping, slipping C4 out of the '75 and got it taken apart and a master rebuild kit ordered.
