We didn't have enough sun coverage to make a huge difference...

Even at peak of eclipse there was still a strong shadow...

It looks like your front springs have relaxed a bit? Or did you cut them? Seems to sit slightly lower than the signature pic. My uncut 8808s have sagged enough that my front tires rub on sharp turns. I was thinking about moving the battery to the trunk. Your cars look nice btw.

    Thanks!!!

The 8088 springs I installed have apparently settled somewhat, I beat on it fairly hard the first 1000 or so miles they were installed... The left side is ¼" lower than right... When I installed the first 8088 in right it was still rather high, so I cut ¼ coil from the left spring, never went back to cut right... I'm going to pull the right coil soon as I want to rotate UCA shaft ½" turn to locate that arm reward and gain additional positive caster, I'll cut spring at that time...

Shawn Simpson and I were there, but stayed in Pontiac for a little while. It was a blast!

Just got back last night from Detroit and the Woodward Dream Cruise for this year. There were 40K plus antique and collectable cars, and about a million folks watching the event. Traffic was a mess, but that's what you go for, to see the cars, cruise Woodward and enjoy the perfect weather. Looking forward to next year. The car performed perfectly, going 2,093 miles, and getting 22mpg. Good times!

Were those two activities related in some way?

Been working with Michael at EFI Dyno Tuning to get the can running better after all the engines mods.

Also needed to make a new gauge pod for a AFR gauge ...

I picked up all the goodies for stand alone EFI, it's an A9L ECU from Mass Flo with a custom harness. It should make thing much easier than reworking the harness I had and I'll have a much better ECU.

Glad to see he is helping you out. Hope you get it sorted. I still have some tweaking to do on mine. I got distracted by Hot August Nights.

Rick (rmiller) depending on the mods you make to your engine you may need to do some custom tuning . This engine has NEVER run so good and Michael is not done with yet .

Thanks for the input, there's no doubt it will need tweaked as I have no idea what combination it was feeding. I bought it from a good friend and he picked it up off ebay, it was on a Factory 5 Cobra that had been wreck but that is all I know about it. I do know Pro M still supports the system and I plan to contact them once I finalize my plans so I can have them set it up for the combination. Once I'm past that I have another friend that does a ton of dyno tuning that I'll lean on to dial it all in.
