Please don't say that word around my car, everytime someone does another $6-700 dissappears from my account... I said that today on the way home, trans started to act up and slip... Guess my bro was right about the vibration after all...

Just ditched my stinky smoky holley for a nearly shot edelbrock, fuel consumption went way down... Carb is still better than the 1850,its an eddie top on a carter lower, (see also, Free),but works good running it just has a tight spot in it that gives a 50 pound pedal... Like the difference so much,I ordered a street demon for it today... I just hope I didnt throw that money away, the parent company is Holley... :slap:

So anyone close to Dothan-Panama City area have a good used AOD for cheep? Never fails when you buy a couple things it needs, like tires, suspension parts, carburetor then somethin spensive goes... :banghead:

Set the timing, as it was running poorly, helped a little, but think I have issues with an old dirty carb. Will run good enough until I can get the 5.0 done for it. Loaded the tank with Stabil so hopefully that will help clean it up a little.

Went to Test and Tune on Saturday at the new Dragway 42 here in Ohio. Only got two runs in with a best of 12.7 and no MPH as the track timing system wasn't working properly. Also poor traction as the starting line prep was terrible, a 2.5 60 foot time on my first run. Ugly!!!!!

There were a lot of tuners and new Hemi cars as a Mopar Club was there.

Started notching the shock towers, removed both front aprons and trimmed out the rust in the towers and engine compartment.

This is the first cut. The bottom will be cut at an upward angle once I lower the control arms. Then It will be cut deeper on the sides to allow for a more rounded filler panel rather than just a flat plate.

Painted some brackets and engine mounts.

One of the Right side brackets had a small crack so I used the other one instead.

Engine mounts are both for 200ci and have D0 code. Wonder why they are different.

Also removed engine (obviously) again to clean up the bay.
