Went to NPD and picked up a set of Tri-co wiper blades. finally got rid of the ugly black autozone junk, now the metal blade housing matches the arms for a original look...

Looks good! I wud have put expansion felt between old slab & new one. May not be an issue in that part of the country as you don't have the extreme temp changes as we have in this part of country.

Installed my new 625cfm Street Demon carb. I love it, runs great now and it doesn't stink and make eyes water...

Finally got the heads back on... The mav had been suffering from low vacuum, low power, excessive fuel consumption,so tore the top end down, and it had a leaking front seal that was trying to rust proof itself with mobil1... Wound up finding out it was 1 tooth retarded on the cam... Had acquired a set of GT40 3 bar heads a little while back, and ported and lapped the valves...So pulled the E7's,put on GT's,port matched the intake,(I don't like it anymore,E'brock's quality is crappy on my intake)... Then new double roller chain indexed to 4* advance... I didn't do it all today, but finally stopped to post...

Maybe this will wake it up... I finally got it all tightened down today... :whew:
