Got the confirmation on the fuel cell order. Ordered some stainless wiper blades from NPD for a Mustang so I can trash these black ones.

Flushed out the radiator AGAIN( I think all that crap is from the stupid flex hose) and replaced my cheap headlight sockets for some high temp ones, getting ready for some obnoxiously bright HIDs

Dont do it. The driver you blind might run into you. Not preachin but its a huge problem around here. AFtermarket HID's have totally wrong reflector patterns. Big fine up here now due in part to the course I helped put together with the MTO to umm, ENLIGHTEN the Police. :p Now to tackle those damn electric 2 wheel scooters that plague our roads here. ;)

I suggest Sylvania sliver stars. Plenty bright enough and DOT.

Finished up 320to sanding the front fender. Did a quick mock up of a side intake for rear breaks with cardboard to see if I wanted to cut into the car and customize it a bit. Don't think I will do it. Tore the dash out and mapped out all the electrical to start rewiring entire car. Also put in rear air shocks and got a 3couple inch lift in the back can change the stance by filing or letting air out. Also measured for rims and tires. Should start laying dynamat through-out the car and trunk sometime next week. Also repainting and customizing the dash a bit for customers gauge set. Tons of work to do. Car wont be finished until becoming of next summer. Also scrapping the hood and going with a carbon fiber induction hood. Taking tons of pictures. Also don't think ill be going g with grabber blue. Thinking more along the lines of copper burnt orange with a metallic. And maybe a pearl white stripes. Ghosted in.

Oh also realized my car is the 3192nd 1969 maverick ever built :))))

Careful about the airshocks in the rear, the mount is just a peice of sheetmetal and they will rip out of the trunk.
And a cheap alternative to dynamat is peel and seal from lowes or home depot, its aluminum backed roof flashing same stuff but 1/3 the price.

PM'd a member about buying a rust free trunk. Mice built a nest up inside of mine and the lip is bubbling.

My car would be nearly rust free if it weren't for the mice!

Edit...just got this in the mail and looks like we have a deal on the trunk. (y)

Just got back from having pictures taken of my Grabber. This guy I know is going to put it on a t-shirt for me, with a back ground. I have seen some of his other shirts and they look awesome. It is not screen printing, but something called sublimation(I think that's what it is called). I should get it on Saturday and I will post a pic of it. He can pretty much put anything on a shirt, you just provide the pic. It would be cool to have a Maverick t-shirt right? But it would be AWESOME to have a Maverick t-shirt with your own car on it. These are not my t-shirts and I am getting nothing out of this. I just want my fellow Maverick and Comet lovers to have the best looking shirt in town, just like I am going to in a couple of days. Heard some talk about people wanting some t-shirts, so I will start a new thread and post a pic probably on Saturday.
