I thought so! I traded for some of it and made a deal on the rest. I was thinking about using the bobcat taillights on my next build but might not. Haven’t decided yet lol.

Been driving it !! Both trucks are temporarily parked ! Waiting for a new trans for one , and the other has a Mystery Tick in the engine area.. Still Investigating the source ! Can't seem to park the Maverick anywhere without an ensuing conversation with folks about " their " Maverick or Comet and how much they loved them. ! Its a grin to drive the
car .. seems like every stoplight I come to I meet up with a Charger , Mustang , Camaro ... etc etc. etc. It's just a stock
5.0 with fuel injection and a gear ..( no racing with THIS one ) ha.

put on a neg bat disconnect because I dont start it enough. Tried to start it. Runs with eather, but not on its own. Fuel pump does pump gas into a bottle if I disconnect the intake hose on carb. So thats for tomorrow.

Put a new set of tires on. Went with Nitto 555 (still have redline sidewalls). Stayed with 225/45ZR-17 up front, and increased the rear size from 245 to 255/45ZR-17...

This past weekend, I put the third member back in and moved it around to clean out my garage. Apparently dropped a lung too, because I have had some weird breathing issues. Awaiting test results.

A few days ago, I was able to find a NOS Comet hood moulding for my '72. Now, except for die cast and steel parts, which I will have re-plated, I have every trim piece and lens assembly for my project as new old stock. Thanks to a friend of mine in the IMOA who picked it up in his area to bring it out to me when we attend the convention next week in Denver. The owner was not too excited about trying to ship it to me. Many thanks to my friend, Mike.

I was down at Harold's shop yesterday and was telling him about the selector cable on my shifter not working. he asked what type shifter I had and when I told him he got up, walked to the back of his shop and brought back a shifter just like mine.
said a Guy pawned it to him about 2 years ago and now he is in jail so he probably want be back to get it. I asked him what he wanted for the part and he said to bring the part off mine and put it on that one.
That Man has never not had anything I've needed.

Started the process replacing water pump, recently developed a serious leak, couldn't see where leak was coming from. The weep hole is dry, bearing/shaft is tight/dry, so still not sure where leak is. Old reman/pump was 9 yrs. old so, guess not waste of time. Had to force myself in the garage in 90 heat getting started late in evening, but, want get car back on road, only have short season here. I'm Ok once I get started -- getting started is the problem.
I'm wondering if the leak might be timing chain cover gasket? Anyway, hope to have car rolling next weekend.

I would think timing chain cover gasket would be oil...JMO
