Gotta love parts cars… I’m guessing the previous owner was trying to emulate a rats nest. 2E6024A9-6782-42AA-97B3-3F92CB987452.jpeg 577166FA-5D2D-42E6-8D95-B11981D4E86E.jpeg 51243CC4-B0B9-48CF-8AFB-D9FD62FB9797.jpeg

I noticed I only had 20 lbs. of fuel pressure from my new Holley 12-305 fuel pump.
when I pulled it down this is what I found. this hose is only about 1.5" long...:yikes:

I think a lot has to do with it doesn't have a... torque arrestor … , the pump I ran before did. The reason I changed to the... Holley 12-305... is because the hose deteriorated on it...:slap:
I am putting the... E2085H ... back in and this one has the corrugated hose on it. My understanding is that's more gas friendly than the rubber is.

    side note...
the picture above is the pump I ordered, this is what they sent me...same part number...:slap:
I ordered it just before I decided to go with the...Holley 12-305 ...been sitting on the shelf unopened so too late to return...:bouncy:

If you're buyin' regular fuel line hose, it will deteriorate when submerged. There is hose specifically made for in tank usage.

Hopefully fixed a rear glass leak, and finally installed Comet deluxe gas cap with cable tether. Now, on to trunk weatherstrip replacement.
