    I like what you've got going with that valance. It updates the look but it's sensitive to the lines of the car. I'm interested in where you go with it.

    Only editorial comment, I think you're going to want to fill in part of that area somehow. If it's exactly what you want from it, then don't let me tell you not to build it that way. It just looks like a lot to me.

    Maybe take the outer ends of the valance you were working on and put it inside the outer openings of the splitter-style one? Or at least slip some curved poster board into those ducts to see if you like the looks.
