The frame is bent a little, giving me a lean, and making the engine sit just a little off center, so I have headers just barely touching the fender on the passenger side (luckily, I can get the plugs in and out on that side without removing the header!) and then about 3/4-1" clearance on the driver side (have to pull that header off and back to get to the plugs). Eventually, I will have the frame straightened and subframe connectors put on, probably a 4-pt roll bar over the back seat. I have cut the shock towers making it fairly easy to get at everything under the hood.

The spacer is due to the driver side plugs ending right about the center of each header tube. So I use shorty plugs, 90-degree angle HEI boots, and try to put some thick gaskets and/or a spacer to give me enough clearance so I don't cook the plug boots (I am already on my 3rd set on the center two plugs...).

I think it IS to much, I went to get gas and breakfast this morning and it took a half hour before it got above 100F  Need a different t-stat or something.
