The official name is Medium Yellow Gold ... but us color code 6C owners prefer Butterscotch .... :)

The average person out there has no idea what they are looking at when they see one of our cars. There really is little documentation. I was at a car show last weekend and as soon as I parked there were people talking about how they never see a Grabber like mine,, I was in the Stallion. Some came up to tell me about ones they had or friends had. I have given up on correcting them on Boss 302's and all that stuff. I just let them talk and enjoy the reminising. As far as worth?? They have come along way in the last few years.

It was originally for sale on those other sites as a true Grabber .. so I assume it is ... of course the VIN would tell for sure ... The upholstery could have been re-done in a non-factory pattern ... and no idea why the sport light bezels were swapped out.

If you look at the pictures ...the car has an awesome paint job ... the video looks like crap.

If it is a true Grabber it wouldn't take much to put it back to stock. If it is really rust-free it looks to be worth $10K ... it was also advertised on those other sites as the colors being original and I don't think many Black Grabbers were made ...

The grill is correct ... just has the wrong sport light bezels ... as noted above ... :)

Bright tailight bezels would be correct if the rear panel was originally silver to match the stripes. They would only be black if the rear panel was black.

Well, if you want to get picky, the first 2 things I notice besides whats already been mentioned, is the "all original engine compartment" is missing a major component and the wiper switch is wrong for a 71.

I really hope that these things keep going up in value. When a factory V8 Grabber or GT in decent shape is worth $15K, we will see less sidepipes, chain steering wheels and extended shackles because the people who like those things won't be able to afford the cars!!

Yes-I said it! I've wanted to say it for a LONG time!

    How Much?

Lets face it, most people want something for nothing. They also have no idea what old cars are worth except mabe a Mustang. They need to be educated. I have my car professionall appraised and updaded every two years. It has a set value and it is insured for that value with Hagerty. If I were to sell my car this the appraised market value is where I would start. This proof of what it is worth. I dont waste my time with people that do not understand, they don't want the car. You may not get the "set" value but, it should be close. Most people do not see the Maverick/Comet as a sound investment like a Mustang but, I thing things are changing. I tell them, "you get what you pay for" see ya! I have had some people come back a 2nd time and buy my cars.
