    Not sure how far you want to go but Tririte, a member on here is going to part with his car. It's a clean 73 with buckets out of an LDO car. It has a dead 250 in it and comes with one I donated to his cause. You could easily drop a V8 in it and make it look the part of a Grabber.

    Craig, what's interesting is that the ebay auction ended 4 days ago...the craigslist link that i posted last night was from last night...maybe the auction deal fell through...? :hmmm:

    I need your guys opinion as well on getting a smog exempt car or a non smog exempt car...What would you guys preffer to have?

    i'd rather have the pre-smog era car...i'm not sure if it's '75, or older...or '74 or older...mine's a '74...

    And why would you preffer having a pre smog car..makes things easier I'm guessing?

    Currently, smog inspections are required for all vehicles except diesel powered vehicles manufactured prior to 1998 or with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVWR) of more than 14,000 lbs, electric, natural gas powered vehicles over 14,000 lbs, hybrids, motorcycles, trailers, or gasoline powered vehicles 1975 and older.

    I'm really considering that 76 Maverick in Anaheim but I really wish it didnt need smog...I hate California Rules and regulations...Every what do they update the year on smog exemptions?

    i asked my mechanic that and he said that originally it was going to be a "rolling" 30 year law...but, then the lawmakers decided to make it '75 and before... :cry:...but, then (i think) if a car is brought into California that wasn't required to have smog in their original state...they wouldn't have to have smog added...but, i could be wrong...anyone else here know for sure? :hmmm:
