What chris has and still is doing for CLD matting over at the DIYMOBILEAUDIO forum
    If anyone is interested
Ill be doing the same for heat insulation matting
Controlled experiment testing to get TRUE FACTUAL RESULTS between varying brand products that anyone can use so they dont have to rely on the company saying its #1 (every company says that) or add claims it does this and that well nor go by someones biased opion on X brand they purchased

Maybe Chris can also do some spelling, grammar, punctuation, and manners testing for you as well.

Settle down guys, no need to get snippy. I respect all of your real work experiences. I already have Thermo-Tec's acoustical and heat control mats on most of the floor so I'm just looking for a better alternative for the roof. My comet is still in project form so I don't have many miles on it. Thanks again

I would use Lizard-Skin spray insulation! Its a lot easier on areas like the roof and the results are always promising from projects I have seen and I am using it on my maverick :) There are 2 separate types though so if you want sound control or heat control you can get both or one. A bit less pricey than dynamat but its not as popular! I think it works great though.

Check out Firewall and Spectrum/sludge from Second Skin Audio.
Same thing, just cheaper with option to also roll on instead of spray only

The Sludge is to thicken the substance, resulting in working better due to added mass.

That looks pretty good! Sadly the thermal cost the same as lizard skin and I already bought the sound control!!! But I'll keep them in mind next time around!
