What is the accepted way to plug dipstick hole in later 5.0 blocks

    Missing my old '70 Maverick
    I just realized that's a picture of my engine and wanted to take this opportunity to say so.

    :D

    That was a Fox Mustang pan that I was 'trying' to make into a rear-sump for the Maverick. I finally gave up and went with the Milodon style front sump pan (7 qt). After making clearances for the steering linkage, there would not have been enough oil volume in that area to ensure the pickup would always be submerged.

    Yeah, Rick, I was doing a search on the dipstick and 5.0 blocks and this pic came up with the pen right where I needed it for even better effect!!!
