The best looking IMHO, was small bumpers, Bobcat taillights, and Comet GT hood scoop. The most functional was adding intermittent wipers. Sounds stupid, but I smile every time I have to use them.

My car is not far from stock, but I think the best thing I've done is a proper 5 lug conversion. Prior I had 4 to 5 lug adapters in the frt and a 5 lug rear end that was too wide in the rear.

Electronic ign. is about the only other upgrade.

I added a consolette also that's really nice since my early Maverick doesn't have a glovebox.

Electronic ignition and a 3G alternator. Nothing was more important than my car starting within 2 seconds of turning the key every time. With a pretty much stock motor that had never been heavily serviced.

My favorite upgrade has to be the turbo, but most important was rebuilding/replacing the front and rear suspension.
